Hi and welcome to Suzis favs. I will be reviewing products, films books etc… Whatever takes my fancy? These will be things that I enjoy and I hope you will enjoy my reviews and join me on my journey of discovery that I am about to embark on.
I’m fast approaching my 50th birthday and this was filling me with dread but then I decided to make changes in my life and thought I would start a blog and share my experiences in this next chapter of my life.
Soon my daughter will be flying the nest and going off to university and the house will be feeling very empty. I need to find something to fill up my days, all those things that I said I would do and never got round to now i’m determined to make the most off my life.
I will start to do more exercise, start eating healthy again and start reading again. As I try out my new diet plans and exercises I will update you on my progress.
A good book can take you away too many exciting places and start to help you make new plans with your life. Reading is the one thing that I must do more of.
I have made a new purchase today something that I have wanted for quite some time I went out and bought an iPad ( I will be reviewing it in a blog post once I get to grips with it).
I have just spent a week in the sun in Lanzarote and while I was there I started to think about my life and the changes I need to make.
I need to clear the clutter from my mind and my house, it’s time to clear those cupboards and get rid of all those bits and pieces that you always make an excuse not to throw them away. I am a terrible hoarder and always find an excuse not to throw things away, buttons, bits of material, wool, cardboard indifferent colours, dried up glue sticks, you name it I have it in draws and when you open them they just won’t close and instead of throwing stuff out I spend 10 minutes trying to arrange the mountains of rubbish so I can close the draw.
So today is list making time I need to go around the house and writing down everything that needs to be changed.
My life needs to change and today seems the perfect day to start my new life.
